Electronic driving license check with fleet iD

The driving licences of employees who use a vehicle for business purposes must be checked at least twice a year. The inspection must be documented accordingly. With the electronic driver’s license check of fleet innovation, the fleet manager in the respective company is significantly relieved. Drivers are informed about the upcoming inspection by email or SMS via the ‘my fleet iD’ management platform. There are then several options available for carrying out the examination:  

• Driver’s license check at one of the 2,500 Aral petrol stations using hologram barcodes attached to the driver’s license, the driver’s license check can be carried out quickly and easily via the cash register scanner at any Aral petrol station. 
• With a barcode scanner, the inspection can also be carried out at a company location.
• With the video control, it is possible to check the driver’s licenses from any location via smartphone, tablet or laptop with camera. This does not require the hologram barcode to be attached. The check can be started by the user directly from the notification email – the installation of software or an app is not required. 
  

All data required for the driver’s license check (name, email address, driver’s license number, etc.) can be integrated via an interface to e.g. personnel management software. The examination results or the status of processing can also be restored in this way. This means that employees in the HR department and/or fleet management always have an up-to-date status. 

Electronic accident prevention regulation with fleet iD: e-UVV

In addition to the driver’s license check, commercially used vehicles must be checked at least once a year for their operational safety in accordance with the accident prevention regulation UVV DGUV V70. This is necessary regardless of the inspection or general inspection of the respective vehicle and must usually be commissioned separately.  

For this solution, too, all relevant data can be transmitted via interfaces – so there is no need for additional input and maintenance. The test routines are scheduled, managed and documented from the platform.  

With the e-UVV via fleet innovation, there is also the possibility of designing and controlling the process according to the individual fleet structure and the contractual requirements of each individual vehicle. The customer has full flexibility in the choice of workshop.  

Electronic driver instruction (e-class)

Once a year, the drivers who use the company’s vehicles for business purposes must be instructed in road and vehicle safety – a task that companies can delegate to fleet class, the online training room for their drivers, in a simple and audit-proof manner. fleet innovation has prepared the normally quite dry content of the driver instruction in an entertaining way in a specially developed offer, so that users can easily follow and internalize the relevant information. Each section of the instruction ends with a small knowledge test. The total duration is approx. 20 minutes and can be processed as required.  

Via online access, drivers are instructed comprehensively and with concrete examples in work-related hazards, protective and emergency measures and all important regulations. The instruction is designed for all vehicles up to 3.5 t and also includes a part for vehicles with electric drives. The didactically motivating driver instruction from fleet innovation ensures that everyone is sufficiently informed at all times in accordance with the legal regulations and that the companies thus minimise the risks in owner liability. 

Driver instruction can also be integrated into existing LMS systems. The management platform provides fleet managers with an overview of the current status at all times.

Pricing

fleet innovation will gladly customise the services relating to questions about keeper liability to the requirements, processes and systems in your company. After discussing your requirements, you will receive a customised offer for the service package of the connection or interface. An annual fee is charged for the individual services (electronic driving licence check, electronic driver instruction and e-UVV) depending on the number of users. There are no further licence costs and no long-term contract commitment.
